Lightly moistens candies with steam and then evenly coats them with sugar, icing, or seasoning to prevent sticking and improve appearance and taste.

 

Applications
• Gummy candy with granulated sugar or coconut flakes.
• Sour belt candy with sour powder flavor

 

Working Principle
Steam-Humidifying Zone – Low-pressure saturated steam (0.2–0.4 MPa) is dispersed as fine mist, raising surface temperature by 2–4 °C and creating a micro-wet layer without stickiness.
Coating Zone – A rotating drum or vibrating pan evenly sprinkles sugar/seasoning; VFD speed control ensures >95 % coverage.
Recovery Zone – Excess powder is collected via a cyclone separator and returned to the hopper for reuse

  • Steam Source: 0.3 MPa saturated steam, 5–15 kg/h.
    Control: Proportional valve + humidity sensor for 4–20 mA continuous output, eliminating on/off fluctuations.
